Fall Fun

Hello, tender friends!

All work and no play makes me boring. With working full-time plus and homeschooling Jacob when we get home everyday, I’ve had to be intentional about making time for fall fun.

Three weekends ago, we went to the local apple orchard for bags of farm fresh apples. It’s become a yearly tradition to eat some on the porch of the orchard.

During my lunch break two weeks ago, I stepped outside instead of working through it. There was a local festival downtown, and these tightrope walkers were walking between the buildings.

We got some more squash out of the garden.

We took advantage of the fall colors by getting some pictures of these handsome gentlemen.

And of course, we went trunk or treating, although I neglected to get a picture of Cubby in his costume. We also had a fall picnic at Jacob’s school last week. Anthony and I were both tired after work, and I didn’t really feel like going, but like so many other things I was happy that I forced myself to go. Jacob had a blast running around the playground with other kids, and breaking the regular routine is always the best way to make memories.

I hope you’re finding time to make some fall memories even if you are also in a busy work season.

Okay, that’s all for today, tender friends! Thank you for stopping by, and thank you for sharing!
