Happy Mother’s Day!

Hello, tender friends!

My cup runneth over. Jacob and I kicked off Mother’s Day with snuggles from the “adoration machine.” That’s what Jacob has named our snuggle and hug time. He tells me it’s time to turn the “adoration machine” on and then bathes me in kisses.

And best #handmade mother’s day gifts are ones like this:

Jacob found the bow one day outside, saved it to glue in the middle of the cardboard and planned the design himself. Before he gave it to me, he said it was going to be a “patriotic mother’s day.”

I’m #grateful for his creativity and how excited he was to give me his art projects.

I just love him so so much.

There’s that saying that people hope they can become kind of person their dog thinks they are. When kids are small, that’s how I feel about them too.

I pray Lord, let me be worthy of being Jacob’s mother. Where I have erred, cover it with your love.
