Hello, tender friends!
We’re home from vacation to Florida. And this is my takeaway: We have such a BEAUTIFUL country!
I’ve only been to the Bahamas a handful of times, but I spent four months out of every year in Florida growing up. I didn’t appreciate Florida back then, but now I dare say I prefer it to The Bahamas. You can have just as much fun without spending anywhere near as much money.
The beaches are just as beautiful, and we found turtles and other wildlife along our path to the water.

We visited SeaWorld, where the majesty of the dolphin and orca shows overcame me with their splendor and beauty.
This kid ate the world’s largest meatball one night that we went out for dinner.

We strolled the streets of St. Augustine.

We hit up Forsyth Park and walked along the water one day in Savannah, Georgia.

Now we’re back, trying to face reality. I kissed my little darling and Anthony goodbye this morning because it’s my first day working a new job downtown. After 5 years of trying to find remote work, I had to throw in the towel and take a job that wasn’t what my flesh wanted. I’m praying for God’s favor and provision, and trying to balance being realistic with faith.

Next week I’ll share my breadfruit photos from vacation with you. We had so much fun at a food store in Florida that imports tons of goodies from the Spanish-speaking world. I had foods that I haven’t enjoyed since living in Spain and made some new discoveries!
America, America, God has truly shed his grace on thee!
Ok, that’s all for today, tender friends! Thank you for following along, and thank you for sharing!
