Hello, tender friends!
I hope you’re staying safe and warm if you’ve been hit by the storm!

We walked to Kroger to buy Cubby a sled, but they were sold out. So I made the little Prince his first detox foot bath instead, then came here to share with you.
I invite you to enjoy a relaxing hot foot bath if you’re snowed in today. All you need for this one is a basin, bentonite clay, apple cider vinegar (I always buy organic with the mother because that’s what I use to cook) and Epsom salt.

The pink fuzzy slippers with your initials in rhinestones are optional, but they do make getting out of the footbath extra fun. I also typically add essential oils, which are also optional but make it feel extra special.
Here’s what I did:
- Mix two tablespoons of bentonite clay with one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to make a paste. Rub the paste on the bottoms of your feet, or in my case on the bottoms of the feet of The Little Prince. *Measure the bentonite clay with a wooden or plastic spoon, as metal deactivates the clay is negative ionic charge, which is what makes it able to draw toxins out of your body.
- Leave the paste on your feet for about 20 minutes so it can draw toxins out.
- Fill the basin with hot water. Mix a quarter cup of Epsom salt into the hot water.
- Soak your feet and relax! You absorb some magnesium from the Epsom salt, and I usually go to bed afterwards because that makes me sleepy.
- *While people say that there is no scientific literature to support the idea of detoxing through your feet, I have used detox foot pads in the past and I’m certain that they really work because I experienced dramatic detox effects. I don’t really feel anything dramatic happen when I use this detox foot method, but it’s still relaxing and very inexpensive. I’m so grateful for all the natural healing products that God has given us in nature!
Ok, tender friends, that’s all for today. Thank you for stopping by, and thank you for sharing! Stay warm!
