Hello, tender friends!
Here are some photos of us enjoying God’s majestic creation:

Sometimes I perceive God’s presence a lot; other times I don’t. I found this unedited writing sprint while decluttering and wanted to share it here. I wrote it during a time when I was perceiving God’s presence almost daily in tangible ways and want to preserve it as a reminder for dry spells.
Here goes:
It doesn’t get any better than this
Lightning strikes and strikes and strikes, the lucky kind, many more times than twice.
It wasn’t beginners luck or bravery, but God’s selection for my destiny. Written in the stars, the sand, even on the face of the moon.
Holding the stars in the palm of your hand is magical. The light glitters through my skin. I’m diaphanous.
Waking up excited, exhilarated, full of promises and blessings that God reigns (misspelling is intentional) and rains and rains on me. The lucky lightning means the rain of blessing is on its way.
It’s like the thrill of falling in love the first time you really fall in love. God’s abundance is so great that I almost can’t face it. All my dreams are coming true.
I can’t eat, I can’t sleep, but my body is nourished by happiness. I’m getting all the vitamin D I need from a steady inner Son. (Misspelling intentional.)
There’s a reason not everyone lives the life of their dreams. They’re busy complaining, blaming others and perhaps like I was – fearing just how good it could be. It’s hard to fly so high and not look down, afraid a wing will fail.
My body thrums with energy. My heart races and dances like a ballerina. The love of God is majestic.
I spent so many years carrying umbrellas that I nearly missed all this.
There’s freedom in not taking credit for this ecstasy.
There’s freedom in giving all the glory to God.
There’s freedom in repentance. It turns out that all the things I once thought were cages are fresh air. I float on the breeze, through the greenery, and understand how this planet called Earth could one day be heaven.
My feet crunch the soil. The flowers are the brightest I’ve ever seen. The river is full of milk and honey.
I prayed. I believe I have received.
Ok, that’s all for today, tender friends! Thank you for stopping by, thank you to the new friends who have signed up, and thank you for sharing!
