You Are a Diamond

Hello tender friend!

It arrived in the mail! After Cubby went to bed, I kicked back on the couch with my favorite blanket and a cup of lemon balm tea and read the whole thing!

(Just a reminder that nothing on here is monetized and I only endorse things as I feel led. I will not receive any financial compensation for this post- it’s simply my honest assessment).

Teresa, if you’re reading this, thank you for your comment about this reminding you of your early days as a Christian. As I read, I could see why you felt that way.

When I read about Lisa and her family going on mission trips and the different kinds of spiritual warfare they encountered, it reminded me of why I went on my own first missions trip. It also reignited my desire for doing trips with Anthony and Jacob when finances allow.

This book also offers hope to for struggling marriages. In a world of throwaway romance, we need reminders of what it’s like to enter the Covenant of marriage and commit to the highs and lows that marriage entails. This book is a reminder that God is a redeemer even when things look hopeless from the outside.

God is a redeemer, even when things look impossible to human eyes.

There are more examples of redemption, including when the diamond fell out of Lisa’s engagement ring and God miraculously restored it. But I’ll stop there because I don’t want to give the whole book away!

I’ve submitted an Amazon review of the book, but Amazon hasn’t approved it yet or I would post it here. If you’ve read the book, please take a few minutes to leave Lisa a review and support independent publishing.

When you support people who self-publish to honor God, you’re fighting “the agenda” that exists in mainstream publishing. That’s part of the reason I continue to do so even though I’m trying really hard not to accumulate anymore possessions in the house.

Lisa is a diamond. Her family are diamonds. You are a diamond too. If you’re wondering if God is going to redeem something in your life, I pray that you read this book to remember that He’s got you in the palm of his hand.

Okay, that’s all for today, tender friends! Thank you for stopping by! Monday’s post will be getting up close and personal into armpit detox. I know, I know, it doesn’t sound glamorous. But just wait and see!

Thank you for sharing!
