Hello, tender friends!
Cub and Anthony have made more noni because this Arctic blast means bigger snowmen for these two!

They made snowmen and I made…earrings!

Don’t mind Cub’ s face. He’s going through a phase in which he’ll only smile in certain photos.

I’m wearing the pink and purple set in the photo. I think they’re my favorite right now.
I’m going to be honest: I felt ridiculous when I decided I was going to start crafting. But is creating something ever ridiculous? The first line of the Bible tells us what God created and that he created us in his image. The very first words are about God’s creativity.
Then there’s Bazaleel, who had God’s special talents imparted to him according to Exodus 31:4-5.
The Bible tells us, “And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,4 To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,5 And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of work
When I think about the fact that Jesus was also a carpenter, I can’t help but wonder why I’ve never heard a sermon about being more like Jesus by working with your hands.
When I learned about how your body literally heals you when engaged in creative pursuits, I couldn’t help but draw the conclusion that we’re missing out on something big when it comes to how God wants us to live.
So for now, I’ll be creating these deliciously kitschy items:

And here it is, Cub’s smile from this morning’s craft:

Ok, that’s all for today, tender friends! Thank you for stopping by, and thank you to the new friends who have signed up for updates. I’ll be sharing a recipe post on Monday!
