Hello tender friends!
Happy MLK day from snowy SW Virginia! This kid was so excited to make a “snowman” this morning. And it’s so timely since he was making noni while he did so.
Noni gives you the power to heal yourself from the comfort of your own home. Creativity literally heals you.

If you’ve followed this blog for any length of time, you know that one of my passions is empowering people to take control of their health using free modalities / methods. Like everything else I recommend, I do so because I’ve practiced it myself. I can vouch for this!
I’ve been sleeping better than I ever have in my life, despite the fact that Cub wakes me up several times a night still. God tells us to pursue peace. Creativity is a path to deep peace.
My personal writing has been transporting me to a magical realm as of late. I kind of cringe to admit this, but I’ve begun a (painfully bad) first draft of memoir about the years I spent in Spain after undergrad. If the word memoir is making you groan, I get it.
I felt that I had no right to write a memoir. I thought that unless you were at least 80 years old that it was just a thin guise for self-indulgence.
But two friends of mine who are the same age in my writer’s group recently started their memoirs, and I thought maybe I’d give it a go. I’m 38, which I still consider young, but I’m also old enough to be confident in the fact that not everything I say is stupid and naive anymore.
This is the gift of moving towards what some people consider middle age- you trust your own opinions in ways you couldn’t as a young woman dying to please everyone around her. You trust that you have something to say that is worthwhile. You start loving yourself enough to have the audacity to devote time to saying it instead of dismissing your heart and mind as inferior and unworthy of expression.

Here’s the information about noni, with my emphasis added:
“Noni is a sacred healing herbal fruit used by native healers for many centuries. Known as a super enzyme activator, it is high in proxeronine which your body converts to xeronine, a key regulator of all cellular proteins and enzymes. Your body naturally produces xeronine when you are: relaxed, laughing, being creative, and feeling happy. And accordingly, your body uses up xeronine quickly when you are: stressed, angry, irritated, fighting illness, in pain, or exposed to toxic substances.”
What would change if western medicine starting prescribing creative practices instead of pharmaceuticals for mental and physical ailments? I imagine beauty would abound instead of illness.

So if you don’t buy the supplement, you can write or paint or build something and heal yourself while you do it!
Ok, that’s all for today, tender friends! Thursday’s post will be a continuation of this. Thank you for stopping by, thank you to all of the new friends, and have a great day!
Thank you for sharing!
