Hello tender friends!
Our garden regularly makes me cry the good kind of tears. As the season winds down, I’m getting nostalgic.

Maybe you remember the Mastercard commercials from the late 90s. My nostalgia and remembering those commercials has inspired this:

Seeds to plant for the next season-$120
A new hose and sprinkler – $90
Lumber for a chicken coop- $1300
Baby chickens purchased at 2 days old- $50
Garden plastic to hold down weeds- $130
BUT
Watching Cub harvest his first carrot himself- priceless
Listening to the squeals of delight when Cubcollects eggs from the coop-priceless
Discovering that gardening is the meaning of life- priceless
Understanding why paradise was a garden and why sin earned us banishment from that garden– priceless
Priceless, priceless, priceless. Yet free to all because Jesus paid the price.

That’s all for today, tender friends. Monday’s post will be about how Baby Cub got his name (Spoiler alert- Yahweh chose it!). Next Thursday’s post will be about Yahweh’s provision in my writing life.
Thank you for sharing!
