Happy Resurrection Day!

Hello, tender friends!

We made it back from New Mexico on Saturday night, and I really wanted to make sure we made it to church for Easter yesterday.

We were late because we didn’t get to bed until after midnight, but I’m proud of us for making it!

I have SO MUCH to say about how beautiful New Mexico is. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did, and I definitely didn’t expect to like it more than Colorado in some ways. The high desert was so full of treasures though. New Mexico lives up to its name; it was a land of enchantment.

I’ll share more about my writers’ conference in West Virginia a few weeks ago in my next post and then the mystique of New Mexico in the post after that.

In the meantime, I hope your Easter was wonderful. I told Jacob he had to take a rain check on his Easter basket and I’ll be shopping for this week to give to him next Sunday.

I’m off to try to get some sleep. Even though New Mexico is only a 2 hour time difference, I’m still feeling the jet lag and really hoping to reset my body tonight.

Thank you for stopping by, tender friends! May we all rejoice in the fact that HE IS RISEN!
