The Perfect Pork Chop

Hello, tender friends!

I couldn’t wait another day to share with you how EASY it is to make this succulent keto pork chop! I had no idea what a game changer this would be for me and only snapped this picture at the end (after we ate one of two chops). It doesn’t look glamorous, but at least you know the picture is authentic!

All I did was :

  1. Season chops heavily with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Leave out at room temperature for a minimum of 30 minutes.
  2. Heat up the frying pan on medium high heat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Drop a teaspoon of butter and a teaspoon of coconut oil on the pan. Watch the satisfying sizzle.
  4. Drop the pork chops in (I use bone-in because they’re juicier) and fry for 3 minutes on each side.

Seriously, this is so easy and so good. It works well because coconut oil has a higher smoke point than butter, and it tastes like extra buttery popcorn but even more satisfying. I’ve found other ways to make pork chops that are nice and juicy before, but this was hands down the easiest method I’ve tried. Coconut oil is a secret weapon in so many ways, and I’m adding this pork chop trick to the list of its marvels.

To round out the meal, pair with a fresh veggie blend, also sauteed in coconut oil!

If you’re anything like us, you’ll be throwing elbows over this one!

Sitting down for meals like this, I am so grateful that God allows me to care for my family this way. Hearing Anthony enjoy something I’ve prepared after a long day of work is such a blessing.

Perhaps I look benevolent, but I assure you, I throw a HARD elbow.

Ok, tender friends, thank you for stopping by! I don’t know why all my photos are blurry, even the ones I took on Anthony’s phone, but I just couldn’t resist sharing this delicious feast with you. I’ll make sure next week’s photos are better!

I’ll finally be getting around to God tapping me on the shoulder in Thursday’s post. Have a great day!

Thank you for sharing!

I’ve never met a pork chop I didn’t like but I do try not to eat it too often. That veggie blend does look awesome too!

That’s so great that you enjoy them! I feel like my cooking pork chop life is a quest to keep them from drying out, so maybe you prep them better than I do. And yes, that cancer fighting veggie blend hit the spot!

No, just a choice. Pork gives me a headache.

Hey Susan, it’s keto because of being low-carb, as keto diets keep your carb count below a certain level each day.
